JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in logistics and supply chain management/Business management
  • 5 - 10 years of logistics experiences, driven project management and lead logistics team
  • Able to communicate well with all stakeholders.
  • Have relevant experience in people management.
  • Result oriented, analytical and innovative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, WMS and SAP will be an added advantage.

Logistics Operations (30%)

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department. This includes transportation, warehouse management, order fulfilment and adhere to all safety practices.
  • Inventory management and control to ensure high stock accuracy.
  • Order fulfilments are completed on-time and with high order accuracy. To resolve any operational issues whenever it arises.
  • Lead the team of logistics assistant, logistics admin and assistant manager. To provide guidance, mentorship and training to ensure the team’s effectiveness and professional development.
  • To foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encourage teamwork and resolve conflicts within the department.
  • Implement and leverage on new age technology and systems to enhance logistics operations. This includes automation machines, software, powerapps, transportation management system to streamline process, improve visibility and optimize resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement with the team to identify potential areas for improvement. Conduct regular team meeting and evaluate process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional department to implement best practices, process improvement and cost saving measures.
  • Manage the overall logistics budgeting and cost control. Explore and identify potential cost-saving opportunities, implement strategies to reduce transportation, inventory and warehousing expenses.
  • Lead and execute the tender management for all general hardware supplies. This includes seeking approval, contract management and resolve any issues whenever required.
  • Ensure the team is in compliance to all safety guidelines and no breach of work safety procedure on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible to ensure all SOP, SWP and financial policy is compliance.
  • Oversee the management of external rental warehouse operations and rental contractual agreement and approval

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the running, management of warehouse and distribution of products to support Retail Merchandise and other related departments.
Optimize logistics operations and resources by utilising warehouse management system, SAP and Automation to ensuring timely receiving of incoming and delivery of outgoing. Ensure forward planning of space capacity and contribute towards entire supply chain management with Merchandising team are aligned to support business growth and strategies.
