We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Software Engineering to join our platform engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with a passion for mentoring engineers, driving high-quality development practices, and delivering high quality and innovative software solutions. As Manager, Software Engineering, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology strategy while fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of talented software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the hiring process for new team members, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Director and senior leaders to ensure that software projects align with Achievers strategic goals.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Project Management: Lead software projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the future of Achievers initiatives.
