Achievers is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team and drive our engineering efforts for our products. • Leadership: Coach, lead and manage a team of software engineers with varying experience levels. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the teams. Provide feedback and performance evaluations for engineering team and continue to grow and strengthen individuals.
• Strategic Thinking: Manage strategic projects with excellent project management skills. Align team goals with the company’s strategic objectives to ensure cohesive progress.
• Product Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product team to contribute to the product roadmap. Ensure the development team understands and is aligned with the product vision and priorities.
• Technical Leadership: Engage in design and architecture discussions, sharing ideas to build the next generation of features for the Achievers platform. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Devlopment: Hands-on with our codebase and deeply involved in code reviews. Use the right tool for the job; we love modern technology and use things like Kubernetes, Python, Go, GRPC, PubSub, MongoDB, MySQL, BigQuery
• Agile Practices: Champion agile development practices in coordination with our Agile coach. Promote an agile mindset and ensure adherence to agile methodologies across teams.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends to explore alternative approaches and solutions, delivering Platform Integration, Systems, and DevOps technologies to meet business needs.
