About the Role

Lead, assess, develop and support the development and lifecycle of a diverse range of strategic partnerships to enable MSH to meet its strategic objectives. Partnerships will be internal and external including but not limited to Executive, Senior Clinicians, Department of Health, Universities, state and national peak bodies and NGOs, private organisations and the primary care sector.

  • Apply high level partnering knowledge and skills to identify, develop and support partnerships across a broad range of subject matter.
  • Utilise partnership to develop and deliver alternative models of care/service delivery and recommend effective redesign options suitable to the clinical, geographic and fiscal context of Metro South Health.
  • Seek to publish methodology and findings in peer reviewed literature and conference presentations.
  • Use expert level clinical knowledge, skills and experience of health care across hospital, community and primary health settings to challenge existing models of care and provide authoritative advice and advocacy for new approaches to care to meet the requirements of the MSH Strategic Plan.
  • Communicate with influence and use interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to develop and cultivate producing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
  • Develop, manage and maintain productive effective cross-sector and interagency working relationships in a complex and changing environment so that strategic initiatives are enabled.
  • Collaborate effectively with end users to systematically diagnose systemic health care issues and enable effective solution design through partnering practices.
