Based in Charleston, SC, HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division includes 11 hospitals, 11 freestanding ERs and more than 200 outpatient care sites located in nine communities across SC, GA and Jacksonville, FL. We are seeking a Manager of Strategy and Analytics to work with our Division leadership, hospital executives and Decision Support team to develop dynamic multi-year strategies.
Exceptional candidates will love data and digging out the insights found within. They will be an Excel wizard and have demonstrated experience using database systems, analysis, modeling and project management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to proactively identify strategic growth opportunities and support our hospital leaders in developing and measuring those strategies. Our team helps to identify how to best support our growing communities with the healthcare services they need.

JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

The primary responsibilities for the Manager Strategy & Analytics include supporting the annual strategic and business planning processes for the Division and hospitals through the use of database systems/reports, analysis, modeling and project management skills. Delivers value-added market intelligence, strategic analysis, and project management to identify and manage execution of growth opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • MBA or master’s degree in healthcare administration or related or business field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
  • Five (5) years demonstrating progressive responsibility in a business or financial role that includes success in leveraging data insights to identify opportunities and drive strategy.
  • Experience with Certificate of Need/Public Policy issues strongly desired.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to assess and leverage data to drive insights and decision making. Strong project management and presentation experience. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to work successfully in a highly complex organization with matrix reporting relationships.
