Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, training and / or education in Business, Arts, Public Administration or a related field
  • Experience in the design and implementation of rigorous performance measurement systems within a large, complex organization(s)
  • Experience leading a diverse team in a large complex organization(s)
  • Proven track record in the design and implementation of successful strategic projects
  • Ideally a balance of for profit/nonprofit and government level strategy and corporate performance planning experience
  • Combinations of education and experience will be considere

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a collaborative team and inspire them with purpose and vision to achieve their full potential
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and implementation of the City’s Strategy Planning Framework and its tools
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability and transparency across the corporation
  • Monitor and measure corporate performance, providing reporting expertise, and integrating a common performance management system across all departments
  • Ensure transparent and meaningful metrics and targets that deliver value. This information will be utilized to develop data-driven decisions and provide leadership with the tools to manage the organization effectively and drive continuous improvement
  • Focus on the team by building a respectful workplace culture through a values-based influencer approach and working collaboratively
  • Anticipate business opportunities, influence policy, planning and initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability through performance measurement
