Description:

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Manage the Supply Planning and Supply Chain Management activities for Originals & Style Collaborations globally, in order to support the strategic direction of Originals & Style. Drive all related change initiatives required towards the strategic positioning of Originals & Style and the continuous improvement of the relevant KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage entire purchasing process for division APP and A&G, transportation mode definitions & changes, inbound planning and distribution activities from tier 1 factories for Originals & Style Collaborations globally.
  • Manage all forecasting and production planning and MOQ supervision from tier 1 factories for all Originals & Style Collaborations globally.
  • Ensure cost efficiency and in-time availability to contribute to the achievement of defined targets
  • Optimize Supply Plans and execute PO Management. Ensure tracking and tracing of Purchase Orders
  • Key interface with non aSL Suppliers, Sales, Account Service, Development, CtC, BU Planning, GSP and Marketing to optimize on-time product availability to meet retail intro dates
  • Monitor external Logistics Provider globally on day-to-day business in a cost-effective manner
  • Manage and monitor all invoices relating to the goods-in process and ensure proper pricing review
  • Review and optimize the logistics timelines with Product Marketing, CtC and Development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Development & Global Supply Planning to establish and maintain accurate forecast and production timing within adidas planning systems
  • Operate within global planning framework (Processes, policies, calendars) while supporting BU specific needs through differentiated services (e.g. exceptional planning processes for collaborations, events)
  • Identify and analyse supply chain and logistics improvement opportunities for Originals & Style Collaborations globally
  • Manage master data process to ensure in time data availability in systems for Fashion Sell In and Global Order Cut Offs
  • Work with supply chain process owners on x-functional global initiatives
  • Manage Quality and Quantity claims for Originals & Style Collaborations in cooperation with 3PL, Sales and Development
  • Manage projects using non aSL suppliers (e.g. article creation, label orders, vendor set up with accounting)
  • Manage and lead the assigned direct reports to achieve high performance by fostering a positive team environment, through effective delegation, objective setting, performance assessments, motivation, training and development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Very good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning, communication and organizational skills
  • Very good ability and experience to understand supply chain issues and drive solutions
  • Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner
  • Good knowledge of standard software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant systems (e.g. SAP GPS, SIM, adirace)
  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects/ tasks under a deadline

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • College or University degree with a focus on Logistics, SCM or a related field; or comparable experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in Operations / Logistics or a related field
  • Industry experience preferred
