Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Leads the analyzing and developing of logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory specific to area of responsibility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Accountable for all carrier selection and renewals. Plays key role in contract negotiations and interfacing with selected carriers necessary to maintain expected levels of service.
- Inspires continuous improvement of logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.
- Improving logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.
- Owns the development and maintenance cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Tracking costs and savings for all transportation modes.
