Description:
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manages the execution of the end-to-end talent management cycle programs from performance assessment and objective setting process, integrating & reinforcing CF’s Values behaviours, while managing the interdependencies with the compensation process
- Manage key talent programs including the Early Talent Leadership Program, a 3-year Operations rotational program to build talent pipeline for CF’s critical roles, including annual university recruitment across the country, onboarding, off boarding, rotational experience, and leadership development. Manages Operations Supervisor program and Summer Student program.
- Supports the preparation and execution of CF’s Leadership Talent Review process, including managing the schedule, communications, content, and session materials. Status actions and report on key metrics.
- Leverages best practices, technology, and competitive trends to continuously improve delivery of talent management processes, recruitment process, I&D initiatives, and other HR processes.
- Owns the design of the recruitment process, systems & technologies and is responsible for adoption of best practices and continuous focus on optimization, especially with a lens to I&D best practices and emerging trends.
- Supports initiatives on CF’s Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) roadmap to remove bias and nurture inclusion as it relates to talent processes and programs.
- Leads communication of CF’s employment value proposition on our social media platforms, collaborates to build and deliver on communication plan. Leads and supports initiatives to enhance messaging and experiences.
- Develops external partnerships with third party service providers to effectively manage and coordinate the programs, initiatives, technology & KPIs, such as external executive coaching assignments, 360 reviews, psychometrics assessments, etc.
- Develops communication and education related to HR processes and policies to ensure management and employee understanding and perceived value.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in business or a related discipline. Advanced professional credentials are an asset.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with a focus on talent management, and strong knowledge of emerging issues and trends. Experience with an organization of comparable scale and complexity as CF with multiple locations.
- CHRP designation
- Experience with larger scale process and project management.
- HR Generalist experience and/or business experience outside HR can be an asset, particularly in the context of further career growth within CF.
- Track record of developing trust and influence at multiple levels to make things happen. Highly developed relationship and organizational skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, senior management, and stakeholders.
CORE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge in organizational design, talent, and performance management, change management, and cultural development from hourly unionized to senior levels
- Thoughtful, direct, and candid communication style, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to both line management and senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement and project management as well as behavioral science applications.
- Highly adaptable, with a track record of success during times of growth and organizational change

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Management & Organizational Development, the Manager, Talent & People Processes supports organization-wide talent management initiatives under the banner of Cadillac Fairview’s strategy of making people and our OneCF culture our competitive advantage. This role will develop, implement, manage, and optimize Cadillac Fairview’s talent programs and processes, including the CF Annual Talent Cycle and top talent development programs. They collaborate effectively with the HR business partner team in executing these programs and processes to the business, supporting CF’s Core Strategy focused on culture and capability.
