Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our clients’ goals

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Manager, you will be part of the restructuring team helping our clients evaluate capital options, capture greater transaction value and achieve strategic objectives - whether they are buying or selling a distressed asset, restructuring a business, dealing with underperformance, or looking to improve cash management. You will assist in the planning and execution of engagements including performing in-depth analysis of a debtor’s financial situation and identifying strategies for dealing with various issues.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent
  • Designated Canadian CPA with minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Completion of or demonstrated progression through the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional Qualification Program
  • Experience on large, complex restructuring engagements
  • Experience developing and working with cash flow models
  • Advanced business modelling skills and experience required
  • Proven capabilities in problem solving, situational analysis, creativity, negotiation and decision making
  • High level of technical competence in conducting financial analysis
  • Ability to prepare high quality written communication
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial statement analysis
  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role
