DESCRIPTION

The Volunteer Manager plans, organizes and coordinates a comprehensive volunteer service for the PACE, ADHC, Information and Assistance and associated programs including interns: Recruits volunteers from the community and coordinates the training and selection process. Works closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate assignment and utilization of volunteers. Provides on-going supervision to volunteers and conducts performance evaluations as indicated. Provides support for the recruitment and training for volunteers in the overall PACE ministry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training: 1 year of related training. Or equivalent educ/experience.
• 1 year related experience.
• upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• Experience supervising and directing the work of others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1 year Experience in a health or social service environment, and experience as a volunteer or working with volunteers.
