Job Description Summary
The Manager of Workflow and Resource Management will plan, assess and allocate resources across the Customer Experience and Marketing portfolio. The role will lead the intake, traffic and prioritization of various marketing projects to ensure that the organization has the necessary resources to meet planned project demand, focusing on work that best aligns with the company’s overall objectives. The Manager of Workflow and Resource Management will also be responsible for defining and improving processes and workflows to effectively and efficiently deliver marketing campaigns and assets. Finally, this position will partner with Marketing Technology to track and report on workflow and resource effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative methods.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that marketing programs are on track with unit’s strategy
  • Ensure that marketing programs are delivered on schedule and within budget
  • Contribute to marketing unit/business unit strategies
  • Plan, direct and execute intake, traffic and prioritization for marketing strategies, campaigns, and education programs to support company strategies and goals while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace. Ensure campaigns and programs meet marketing unit/business unit objectives
  • Ensure that financial goals are met. Adapt unit’s plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges, flagging and resolving capacity concerns via prioritization
  • Implement, oversee, reinforce and optimize end-to-end campaign process
  • Conduct capacity planning and checks through the entire process; from strategy to planning to execution. Oversee implementation of new initiatives
  • Analyze program effectiveness for resource and workflow management, and make/recommend improvements
  • Identify, analyze and prioritize new marketing workflow and resource management opportunities
  • Keep abreast of industry and consumer trends, and translate information into positive unit actions
  • Actively and effectively develop employees. Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
  • Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Center of Excellence leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to support resource management processes and improve efficiency
  • Review and assign resources for production requests to update existing marketing assets, recommending opportunities to reimagine and improve workflow
  • Manage resource conflicts and bottlenecks (e.g., scope creep, rush requests) through prioritization, project reassignments, and other resource management techniques
  • Own in-process marketing calendar, working with stakeholders to ensure accuracy
  • Proactively update stakeholders and senior management with any issues, including challenges in meeting business needs due to resource constraints
  • Participate in collaborative planning sessions to weigh in on capacity and timelines during campaign strategy and plan development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Seven years of experience in Marketing or Financial Services/Insurance
  • Solid knowledge of marketing methods and principles
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
  • Analytical ability with working knowledge of marketing financials
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Staff management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Critical thinking, analytical and forecasting skills
  • Proven track record of creative problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Interpersonal skills (effective communication, collaboration, the ability to navigate difficult conversations)

Compensation
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $98,000 - $110,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Bonus Eligibility
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
