We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Managing Director to oversee services in our South region, ensuring our commitment to excellence and growth.
As a Managing Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our services. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the strategic development and operational management of multiple facilities, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires a visionary leader with a track record of success in healthcare operations and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the South Region, aligning with the Active Care Group’s overall vision and objectives.
Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective operation across all services, maintaining high standards in care delivery, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Financial Management: Drive financial performance, including budget management, revenue generation, and cost efficiency across the region.
Quality Assurance: Uphold quality care standards, continually enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commissioners, regulatory bodies, and partner organizations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Responsibility for the management of Operations Directors in the South and accountability to ensure that all Managers are focused on all quality, people, and financial targets for allocated sites within the region.
  • Deliver all quality targets, regulatory compliance requirements and oversee the improvement plan with the quality team supporting.
  • Working with the HR Business Partner and quality team to embed Just Culture so that the highest standards of safety, quality, morale and retention are achieved.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to develop and grow services and occupancy.
  • Alongside the OD’s ensure that all services are utilising and working effectively with their Site Improvement Plans.
  • Work with the recruitment team to ensure that activity is appropriately focused and support international recruitment as required with the primary focus of reducing reliance on agency usage.
  • Responsibility for delivery against all commissioner targets.
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve the delivery of excellent patient care.
