JOB DESCRIPTION

As Managing Director Doka Poland, you will further develop the organization following a successful turnaround plan with a focus on profitable growth and assume full P&L responsibility. You will lead and coach your direct reports, ensuring that they are given the resources and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with Doka Poland.
In your role, you will also assess additional revenue opportunities and drive customer engagement that strengthens the company’s position in the market while being committed to further maintain and develop a high-performing team and organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will ensure execution & full commitment for the current business plan and mid-term profitability goals of the whole business operation of Doka Poland
  • Based on customer segmentation you will be responsible for the implementation of a differentiated pricing strategy securing profitability in all customer segments.
  • You will be responsible for the balance sheet, budget, and KPI’s in the country and reporting directly to the Regional Director Europe.
  • You coordinate and support lobbying and professional key account management to expand the Company’s Project Pipeline.
  • You will manage and coordinate all activities between the departments and optimize, develop and implement organizational processes and structures from an operative as well as strategic point of view.
  • You will further ensure optimization & realization of the sales strategy incl. KAM, pricing, management of claims, inventory management and health/safety regulations.
  • You will act as a role model and to be the highest promoter of Doka strategy, principles of management and code of conduct and to be responsible for compliance of internal and external rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • General Management experience highly desired
  • Strong Commercial/Sales Management background (e.g. Pricing Management, etc.) with strong Business Acumen
  • Proven experience, network & access as well as in-depth understanding of the local Polish construction market (ideally formwork knowledge)
  • International Management experience would be a major benefit
  • Very high engagement level and “hands-on” approach
  • Civil Engineering Degree Background highly preferred, MBA or similarly desired
  • Excellent language communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English; fluent/native in Polish
