WHAT YOU WILL DO?

At Volvo Financial Services you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will lead the way into the future to keep our customers and employees connected, successful and moving forward. As Managing Director of VFS Mexico, you will support these goals by providing leadership and direction for the market in Mexico to include the development, management and achievement of commercial and profitability targets as well as delivering excellent customer and dealer satisfaction. You’ll achieve this with the support of a high performing and highly engaged team. Your work will support the marketing strategy of Volvo Group brands in your market while managing the strategic integration and alignment between VFS and the brands, specifically Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment and Prevost & Nova Buses.

  • You have successfully led and developed diverse teams, and you’ve directly managed at least three of the following core areas: credit, marketing, sales, operations, or accounting/finance.
  • Your expertise extends to capital equipment financing, particularly within the heavy truck, construction equipment, and/or bus industries. This background has equipped you with a deep understanding of the asset finance industry, along with the regulatory, compliance, and international requirements specific to the local market.
  • You excel in assessing and managing credit, financial, and business risks, making these competencies central to your professional profile.
  • Your strong business and financial acumen are backed by 3-5 years of experience with full profit and loss responsibility for a finance company or division.
  • You are target-driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated, leveraging these qualities to drive long-term business success, capitalize on market opportunities, and support Volvo Group brand sales.
  • As a confident public speaker, you possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Your interactions are marked by courage, high personal integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Your professional experience is underpinned by a relevant degree in business, finance, or marketing, with an MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, with Spanish language skills considered an asset
