( Mandarin Speaking ) to join our growing organization.
At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we’ve made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we’re looking for a culturally aligned Marketing Director (Mandarin-speaking) to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy & P&L Ownership:Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives, brand positioning, and product innovation.
  • Brand Development & Management:Define and enhance the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints. Manage brand architecture, messaging, and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and distinguish the company in the marketplace.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution:Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, retail, events, and traditional media. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Digital & Social Media Marketing:Guide and manage digital marketing strategies, including website content, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), and social media initiatives to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Market Research & Consumer Insights:Conduct and leverage market research and consumer insights to identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities that inform marketing strategies. Stay informed on competitor activities and market changes.
  • Partnership & Collaboration:Collaborate closely with the sales team, product development, supply chain team, finance team and external agencies to align marketing initiatives with business goals. Develop partnerships with key influencers, retailers, and distributors to amplify the brand’s reach.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations, particularly regarding the advertising and promotion of vape products. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk.
  • Budget Management:Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the ROI of marketing investments.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team. Foster a creative and collaborative environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting:Set KPIs and monitor the performance of marketing initiatives through data analytics and reporting. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing activities and drive business growth.
