Manual Test Engineer

OVERVIEW

Infinity is seeking a highly motivated Manual Test Engineer to join our Product and Engineering department as part of our test team. This role is ideally suited for a graduate looking to enter the software development or software testing world. This role involves working within our industry leading Call Tracking SaaS product, working closely within a software development workstream, creating and executing manual test cases, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, be enthusiastic about quality. They should be self-starting and capable of working independently, be willing to learn and develop their own personal skills, and have a focus on contributing to the success of the product.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of test management and defect tracking tools is a plus (e.g. JIRA, TestRail)

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous internship or project experience in software testing
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Familiarity with at least one programming language
• Familiarity of testing APIs, including tools (e.g. Postman)
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright)
