Description:

MANUFACTURING COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team at NorthStar Downhole Specialists. As a Manufacturing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and supporting the production process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our downhole tools and equipment. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for manufacturing, we want to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS



    • -
    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and manufacturing coordination or a related field
    • Experience with machining and interacting with machine shops is an asset
    • Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection
    • Experience with quality control and assurance procedures
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
    • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred

    Responsibilities:



      • -
      • Coordinate production schedules and workflows to meet customer deadlines
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and Services
      • Research, source and assess new machining and raw material suppliers for specific engineering specifications
      • Monitor and report on production progress, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or issues
      • Manage inventory and material procurement to ensure adequate stock levels
      • Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
      • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, including production metrics and KPIs
      • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
