With a 170,000 square foot aluminum extrusion facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry, Apex can offer custom extrusions, mill finish aluminum and anodized aluminum to satisfy the most demanding customer and all architectural needs.
Manufacturing Engineer

Apex Aluminum Extrusions Ltd. is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory with a 170,000 square foot facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry. We believe in the ongoing investment and development of our processes and people.
Reporting to the Process Engineer, the Manufacturing Engineer’s role is to evaluate, improve, and develop new production processes. The engineer will audit manufacturing processes and leverage the support of Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to raise standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Hands-on with a technical aptitude for industrial machinery and electronics
  • Engineering degree or equivalent diploma in manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and systems and electronics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Computer program proficiency:
  • Microsoft suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • 3D CAD, e.g., SolidWorks or OnShape
  • AutoCAD
  • Lean manufacturing skillset and practical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in math and unit conversions
  • Comprehension of technical drawings and layouts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and draw from resources as required.
