Weld Tooling Corporation (Bug-O Systems) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help lead our business to the next level. The position requires close collaboration with our Engineering/Product Development and manufacturing teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family owned mechanized welding and cutting industry leader as we continue to grow and expand across the globe.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 years of practical hands-on experience in manufacturing.
· Familiarity with electro-mechanical assembly and machine shop manufacturing.
· Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other departments at all levels of the organization
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects while successfully accomplishing daily job responsibilities

BONUS SKILLS:

· Familiarity with AutoCAD/Solid Edge
· Experience with Lean Principles
· Understanding and knowledge of ISO-9001, QMS, Six Sigma

Experience:

Work Location: In perso

· Create and document the Manufacturing, Inspection and Quality Control process across all existing and newly developed product lines.
· Analyze, develop and implement process control techniques and procedures.
· Utilizing “Lean” principles, analyze, recommend and implement processes to reduce cost, increase quality and productivity throughout the entire manufacturing process.
· Lead the transition from product development to production by producing pilot runs and all necessary documentation and “work instructions”.
· Design and assist in the manufacture of fixtures for manufacturing and testing/inspection.
· Provide engineering support to production to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues.
· Perform root cause analysis of reported issues and create corrective/preventative action reports and oversee implementation.
· Collaborate with supply chain and contract manufacturers as necessary to maintain the highest quality of products received on a consistent basis.
· Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to develop and produce quality control and inspection fixtures and procedures.
· Assist in plant layout projects and initiatives to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
