American company leader in automotive aftermarket parts with eight years in Mexico with
processes of tube bending, laser cutting, machine shop, metalic parts fabrication: expansion, reduction, flare, notch, plasma cutting, MIG/TIG welding pipes. We are looking for a process/manufacturing engineer for first
shift. The plant is in the Boulevard 2000 near La Presa area in Tijuana.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transfers and delivers new processes, including new capital equipment for production capabilities expansion.
  • Establishes standards for operation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and products.
  • Identifies, Evaluates, and proposes improvements and executes them to existing processes, tools, equipment, and products based on product safety, quality needs, ergonomics, environmental and costs.
  • Maintains labor standards in MRP
  • Develops experimental design and statistical process control tools to assure process reliability, sustainability, and safety.
  • Evaluates fitness for use of materials, tools, processes, tests, and products.
  • Design, execution, and analysis of experiments based on statistical techniques.
  • Risk management development, troubleshooting and refinement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Documents work via reports, technology notebooks, and design file entries.
  • Develops procedures, trains other associates, and assists other technical associates.
  • Hands-on involvement with all phases of assigned projects.
  • Works effectively in team situations as well as independently.
  • }Knowledge on automated manufacturing equipment is desired
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required based on education, knowledge, and previous experience.

Experiencia y requisitos
Industrial Engineering or similar degree - Cedula Profesional
Excellent communication skills - English 80%+
At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Valid US Visa
Advanced English level
Experienced in lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
MSOffice, ERP advanced user(IFS or Epicor is a plus)
Desirable experience in sheet metal processes
