We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As a Manufacturing Engineer for our Christchurch location, you will be responsible for the introduction of new products to production, support current production lines and ensure services are always available to production.

Your Challenge

• Provides technical support for products and test equipment (including interface to engineering).
• Respond to stoppages and quality issues (what stops the flow).
• Designs, manufactures, and maintains test equipment.
• Perform work to current standard routines and QMS.
• Maintain 6S in work area.
• Leads continuous improvement (lean and 6 sigma) to improve processes and mitigate risk.
• Provides training and support to others as required.
• Comply with all Health and safety requirements.

What You Bring

• HND/HNC Electronic Engineering and/or relevant experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with SolidWorks and design for 3D printing.
• Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
