Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Engineer at Irwin, you will support and improve the manufacturing operations within the assigned focused factory through process enhancements, cost reductions, product improvement, and new product development by performing the following duties.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience of 2+ years required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Performs equipment justification, procurement, and installation/implementation support.
- Performs production troubleshooting to resolve product quality problems.
- Performs product and/or process design improvement as required.
- Designs and implements the manufacturing process for new products.
- Performs CAD drawing and maintenance when required.
- Designs and develops appropriate plant layout activities.
- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- CI Tool exposure and use of problem solving, work balance, and process mapping
- Daily process and Cell support.
- New product launch support on implementation.
- Improves and adjust existing cell layouts.
