Description:

Overview:
Join our dynamic manufacturing Engineering team in the defence sector at Expleo UK. We are looking for skilled Engineers to work closely with the production team, contributing to work content, crafting work instructions, and ensuring successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Standard Work Instructions (SWI) to streamline and standardize the building process.
  • Conduct detailed Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks. Data collection during SWI development is crucial to enhance the PFMEA. While Level 1 PFMEA is complete, further levels require attention for comprehensive risk management.
  • Provide assistance on the shop floor by supporting build tasks, confirming stages, and ensuring adherence to best practices. This support will be on an ad hoc basis as needed.

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for candidates with relevant qualifications or significant experience in the field.

Essential skills:

  • The use of Microsoft Excel, Word are Essential. Be fluent in the use of CAD packages like NX and have a good understanding of Teamcenter. The use of SAP is critical to the role as looking up data from Production work orders is important.
  • A good level of understanding in writing PFMEA’s is critical.
