FAIVELEY TRANSPORT CZECH a.s., is the part of the Wabtec Corporation, which after merging with the French company Faiveley Transport in 2016 and the American company GE Transportation in 2019 became the largest manufacturer of components for the railway and transit industry. We are proud to deliver products for major transportation projects worldwide as pantographs, electro -mechanical switches, couplers, brakes, trolleybus collectors.

How will you make a difference?

• Participate in product and process definition and monitor the following aspects: costs, industrial feasibility, standardization, and simplification.
• Be an active player in the Projects finalised for the Transfer of Technologies from other Faiveley Plants (Mother Plants), mainly in the frame of the testing process.
• Be an active player together with the Quality Organisation to ensure the correct development of all the Industrialisation activities requested for the achievement of the Quality objectives; as such, have direct responsibility for the planning and correct execution of all the requested activities starting from the P-FMEA up until the Process Audit / First Article Inspection of the assembly lines passing through the analysis and application of the Control Plan and all the related tasks such as Instruction sheets and Start-of production checklists.
• For projects developed at FT Czech, actively participate in the collaboration between R&D and production in the preparation of test procedures. Work on continuous improvement and streamlining of processes in terms of cost, quality, and production time.
• Define tools, workstations, and process organization in line with SFU objectives.
• Validate manufacturing devices (process capability and ergonomics)
• Secure components necessary for pre-batch production and manufacture pre-batch products, secure deliveries for the Customers.
• Organize and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) and related process audits.
• Monitor product/process development and changes and implement them.
• Actively participate in SFU QRQC meetings
• Define new manufacturing devices and modify existing devices considering environmental aspects.

What do we want to know about you?

• Education: Electrotechnical graduation
• Languages: Czech mother language + Fluent in spoken and written English
• Professional experience: 5-8 years of experience in Industrial Operations, mandatory for the role is at least 3 years spent in Structured Companies covering Method / Process Engineering functions for Product & Process Development
