The Manufacturing Engineer - Robotics and Automation for Radiometer is responsible for playing a central role in the development of Sensor Cassette assembly production with daily support, handling quality issues and continuing improvements and problem solving.
This production area is on an automation journey. The current assembly production consists of manual production cells and a couple of robots.

You will support the production to ensure maximum uptime and quality of equipment and machines. You plan and carry out preventive maintenance on equipment and machines, with activities like:

  • Facilitate daily quality monitoring.
  • Systematic problem solving of e.g., quality problems and production stops.
  • Handling deviations during production (NCR)
  • Optimizations and improvements of existing production equipment, as well as participation in commissioning of new ones, in close collaboration with our Engineering department.
  • Drive and participate in LEAN activities and projects to improve equipment and processes.

In this role you will be a part of commissioning new manufacturing equipment by contributing with inputs to concepts, URS, participate in FAT/SAT and validations, as well as being responsible for documentation. A key part of this role is creating strong relations and excellent collaboration with our R&D and Engineering departments, to ensure a smooth hand-over to production and fast ramp-up of new equipment.
To be successful in this position, you must have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy hands-on work.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Engineering education, preferably with a background in mechanical, electrical, robotics and automation
  • Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • It is a priority for the position that you are fluent in Danish and English
  • That you are open minded and eager to learn

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT REQUIREMENTS BUT ARE DEFINITE ADVANTAGES:

  • Experience with vision systems, specifically Keyence and Cognex
  • Experience with PLC, specifically Omron
  • Experience programming languages like Python and C#
  • Familiarity and knowledge of databases and big data analysis
  • Experience with mechanical design and CAD
