Manufacturing Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• At least 4 years’ design and quality control experience in product manufacturing
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• History of progressive responsibility a plus
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with CAD programs a plus.

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements
• Works closely with Manufacturing Technician
• Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process
• Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems
• Develop standardized design criteria across all product lines
• Create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals as well as performance quotas
• Allocation of manpower on workstations
• Consolidated report on outstanding/fixed number of sets per day to meet monthly quota
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesion
• NCR part list, reason of rework
• Problem-Solving and Quality Control:
• Troubleshoot product issues and identify root causes of defects.
• Develop solutions to maintain consistency in quality.
• Interpret inspection data and ensure actual component meets all quality requirements.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical guidance and support to the Lead Orbital Welder and other team member

• Establish an effective and efficient work sequenceTo improve productivity and reduce carbon footprint
