We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to help continue to build our high performing operations and join us in our mission to create healthy spaces for people to live, work and play in a sustainable way. This role will use continuous improvement methods to increase capacity and productivity, achieve cost saving, improve product quality, and achieve on-time delivery of our customer orders.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated abilities to grow and develop teams
  • 10+ years experience in a manufacturing or equivalent engineering environment. Experience in the automotive, aerospace or HVAC System assembly industries would be an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Application of Lean and 6 sigma Manufacturing principles (Green Belt preferred)
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • The ability to remain open to new ideas and to maintain a positive attitude with a focus on qualitySolid computer skills (Excel, ERP experience an advantage).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Sustain and support Manufacturing Engineering aspects on the production lines within the facility.
  • Define project timelines, set priorities, and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day priorities, targets and responsibilities.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and capacity.
  • Work effectively with production team, product development engineering team and quality team to provide support and resolve process and technical issues.
  • Develop automated or semi-automated processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Create and execute verification and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, FMEA), of product equipment, processes, and designs Review and update work instructions, ATP’s, travelers, and other internal documentation.
  • Review new designs and provide Design for Manufacturing input to Design Engineering
