YOUR EXPERIENCE SO FAR:
- Diploma in engineering technology or a related field.
- 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering role or similar, ideally with experience in high-precision electro-mechanical systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and 3D printing (bonus).
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technologist with a solid background in electromechanical systems to support our manufacturing processes. In this role, you’ll be the technical backbone of our production floor, ensuring that our equipment runs seamlessly and supporting our team with efficient, on-the-spot troubleshooting. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams, directly assisting with technical issues, driving process improvements, and keeping essential documentation up-to-date. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Be a first-line responder to production challenges, collaborating with teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and apply effective corrective actions.
- Investigate production non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and support our continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including BOMs and procedural guidelines.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Document Change Orders (DCOs) in our PLM, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Maintain and enhance production equipment, and assist with selecting and commissioning new equipment to support growth.
- Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported.
