Manufacturing Engineers (non-conformances reduction)

JOB TYPE: 12-MONTHS CONTRACT / PERMANENT

Our client is looking for 4 Manufacturing Engineers to be based in Papendrecht, Netherlands.

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Root cause analysis
• Preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances
• Graduate with a mechanical or manufacturing degree or an experienced manufacturing engineer.
• Bonus: Aerospace manufacturing background

OTHER SKILLS:

• HSE awareness as applied to manufacturing shop floor.
• Resolution of vendor schedule and/or quality issues.
• Utilize RCA, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.
• Implement tooling and or production planning, from original concept through to production, with Zero Defect concept.
• Analyze repairs/ damage and develop substantiation for dispositions. Develop solutions with repair process schemes & prove-out in production line.
• Product development, first article development, configuration changes, build process definition and implementation.
• Experience of managing (new) Product / Process introduction (industrialisation) & existing production process improvements.
• Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000.
• Working knowledge of machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing).
• Working knowledge of surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI)
