POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing & Maintenance Manager at SyBridge Technologies plays a pivotal role in overseeing both engineering processes and the maintenance of production equipment. This dual role ensures optimal manufacturability of engineering designs while maintaining equipment reliability to support efficient production operations. The focus is on continuous improvement, ensuring that processes and equipment meet both internal standards and customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with design, production, and maintenance teams to optimize workflows, reduce downtime, and deliver high-quality products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.
- Strong background in mold making, machining operations, or production equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., Catia V5) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Management

- Evaluate the manufacturability of engineering designs and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Review designs at key stages—Job Kick-off, Internal Preliminary, Intermediate Design, and Build Plan—to ensure alignment with production goals.
- Develop and document manufacturing best practices, incorporating them into designs and production processes.
- Collaborate with mold-making and machining teams to address issues, provide technical support, and drive corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Offer engineering support during production, troubleshooting issues to minimize disruptions and ensure timely resolutions.
Maintenance Management

- Lead maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is properly maintained to reduce downtime and meet production schedules.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for critical machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure that equipment issues are quickly identified and resolved.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Monitor key maintenance metrics and performance indicators to drive improvements in equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards related to equipment use and maintenance.
