Description:
Position requires a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Materials Science or related engineering discipline and 3+ years experience.
- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing for CNC Machining, Metal Forming and Assembly processes is required.
- Knowledge of Composite commercial aircraft products would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of CATIA V5.
- Able to work independently with good project management skills.
- Good technical writing skills with proficiency in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a quality / manufacturing / production engineering role with a strong mechanical engineering and problem solving skill set.
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Product Development environment preferred
Responsibilities:

Manufacturing engineering support for Asia manufacturing programs working with Central Program ME
- Provide response for ASQR FORM 3 (SRI) raised by ASG Asia Manufacturing Suppliers
- Perform technical review of Engineering provided to supplier for their product build. Identify and resolve potential
ambiguity and manufacturing concerns prior to actual build.
- Participate in DIVE, RRCA, Time Observations etc. to help suppliers improve process yield
- Perform Manufacturing Process Review (MPR)
- Soft tools support to suppliers in Asia.
- Provide disposition for non-conformances occurring at all Asian supplier sites
- Support other functional groups to resolve technical / operation issues
- Support development of Enterprise Excellence Procedure (EEP) 1011 for Control of Nonconforming Product
- Support projects and activities for improvement and development of Aerostructures MRB.
