EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment or related fast paced, impactful environment where leadership is required.
  • Experienced people leader.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Understanding and experience with ERP systems to drive efficient and controlled Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of key technologies including press brakes, lasers and turrets for sheet metal fabrication, etc.
  • Experience with 5S, Quality Process Control, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience in improving the quality, efficiency, and cost of manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish Manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, implementing process and procedures.
  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, supervising progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.
  • Maintain staff by hiring, training, and developing for personal growth.
  • Ensure systems and consumables are meeting the highest quality by establishing and implementing standards.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform hands on assembly, testing, and training of personnel as required.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects for new products and processes.
  • Drives Practical Process Improvement (PPI) thinking to assignments continuously driving improvement.
