    We design, manufacture, and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The position of Manufacturing Scheduler & Planner is responsible for planning and creating schedules for our modular buildings, inputting data for installation schedules and identifying and documenting project costs into estimates, budgets, and schedules creating longer term capacity plans to allow the business to prepare for future projects and works. This is a full time role based from our High Wycombe office.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

  • Produce project schedules as required
  • Understand project specific client requirements and identifying time and cost implications for compliance to scope of works
  • Identify and communicate scope, specification, and drawings where specialist scheduling and planning is required
  • Document required labour and subcontractors to meet project requirements
  • Day to day planning, prioritisation, and decision making
  • Identify value add opportunities
  • Document areas of non-conformance or clarification against client project requirements
  • Compliance of the management system procedures; specifically, the document control and management system record, ensuring policies and objectives are followed at all times
  • Maintain good administration practices including recording and reporting
  • Participate in ongoing training and development

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • A sound working knowledge of project management principles
  • Proven history in planning, reporting and risk management
  • An ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to switch between projects and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced computing skills, particularly in MS Project, Word, Outlook, & Excel.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Project scheduling
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the building industry
  • Contractual / building experience in relevant industry (desirable)
  • Sound knowledge of Building Codes of Australia (preferred)
