Overview: As a Manufacturing Process Developer you will be part of manufacturing engineering team. You will be Responsible for defining and validating surface and joining interfaces.

Responsibilities:
- Early on, in connection with the platform and product roadmap, identify (incl. input into technology roadmap), evaluate, define, develop and provide optimal manufacturing technologies or processes (this may go beyond or extend the focus areas described in the purpose of the position).
- As part of the platform and product projects, develop, adapt, optimize, implement and qualify the required manufacturing technologies or processes.
- Proactive exchange and alignment with the interface and development partners in R&D, ME and Operations/Production.
- Promote and demand “Design for Manufacturing” and “Design for Quality” thinking at Sonova ("SQDIC").
- Standardization of any process diversity on suitable process platforms.
- Definition and maintenance of process relevant design rules and documents (WMST, PI, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Manufacturing Process Validatoin (POL-38, SOP-190).
- Support of PLE and Continuous Improvement (2 and 3nd level support).
- Benchmarking, optimization and replacement (obsolescence handling) of existing manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Process and failure analysis.
