EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as Mechatronics, Controls and Automation or equivalent.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on complex control systems and equipment such as Siemens PLCs, Servo control and Vision inspection systems.
- Enthusiastic and energetic, able to integrate quickly into a team environment.
- Demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.
- 5 years relevant experience in Engineering.
- The ability to organise, motivate and understand people.
- Ability to work on platforms, scaffolding & ladders.
- Good mental ability to logically follow a line of thought for problem-solving.
- Good computer skills – ECDL as a minimum.
Responsibilities:
- To provide the necessary engineering support and services to the plant and, in general, to achieve organisational plant goals.
- Responsible for selecting, assigning, organising, and directing the activities for technician maintenance.
- To attend to the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the process equipment and facilities.
- To contribute to the organization and planning of the engineering department.
