EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as Mechatronics, Controls and Automation or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on complex control systems and equipment such as Siemens PLCs, Servo control and Vision inspection systems.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic, able to integrate quickly into a team environment.
  • Demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • 5 years relevant experience in Engineering.
  • The ability to organise, motivate and understand people.
  • Ability to work on platforms, scaffolding & ladders.
  • Good mental ability to logically follow a line of thought for problem-solving.
  • Good computer skills – ECDL as a minimum.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide the necessary engineering support and services to the plant and, in general, to achieve organisational plant goals.
  • Responsible for selecting, assigning, organising, and directing the activities for technician maintenance.
  • To attend to the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the process equipment and facilities.
  • To contribute to the organization and planning of the engineering department.
