If you’re passionate about quality improvement and have experience in quality and manufacturing processes, this job may be a fit for you! In this role, you will be responsible for the quality excellence and continuous improvement of assigned industrial electronics product manufacturing lines – from material supplied to us to what we deliver to our customers.

PERFORMS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES COMMENSURATE WITH ASSIGNED FUNCTIONAL AREA WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT WHICH MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, ANY COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

  • Site subject matter expert for 8D, PFMEA, PCP, and other Quality Engineering tools/processes/etc.
  • Mentor others on Quality Engineering functions
  • Implement/sustain measurement and reporting of applicable KPIs
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Execute root cause analysis (8D) of product and/or process defects
  • Lead PMFEA activities for assigned product lines and ensure that Process Control Plans are applied
  • Champion surveillance testing requirements for assigned product lines
  • Lead corrective/preventive action projects
  • Lead product and process audits for compliance with our Integrated Management System, customer requirements, and international standards
  • Manage quality-related production line disruption and alerts
  • Facilitate 3rd-party audits
  • Investigate customer complaints – including analysis of returned products
  • Interface with customers regarding quality issues
  • Coordinate deviation identification/approval
  • Lead and participate in continual improvement activities, such as 5S, SPS, and Six Sigma projects
  • Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System
  • Lead implementation of new digital quality tools in the plant
  • Identify & capitalize on best practices in quality
  • Lead the investigation into customer complaints – including analysis of returned products – and be the primary customer interface for our Technical Expertise request process
