Description:
SUMMARY:
Coordinates the daily activities such to include safeguarding all hazards, managing consumable inventory levels according to forecast demand, process inbound Maintenance parts and provide additional support as needed.
Pay Class and Pay
Pay Class: Full Time
Pay: $15.60 - $16.90 per hour
Essential Responsibilities:Safety:
Responsible for personal compliance to all applicable OSHA requirements
Work in a manner to prevent avoidable accidents
Always utilize approved PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment)
Report all known hazards to Management immediately
Utilize Lock-Out / Tag-Out to ensure safe work environment
Product Management - Consumables
Receive inbound freight
Sort freight by department
Store manufacturing consumables in Supply Room
Restock manufacturing consumable Store Fronts as needed
Physical Inventory - take physical counts of Top 20 consumable items daily. All items weekly
Using Kanban cards, monitor inventory forwarding needed purchases to Procurement
Provide alerts on abnormal use trends to Procurement
Product Management - Maintenance
Submit Requisitions to Procurement department to include part numbers, pricing, obtaining appropriate approvals.
Receive inbound freight
Source for new parts, suppliers when the need arises
Process inbound parts by attaching bar-codes as needed
Maintain quick reference log of items ordered (part logger)
Update inventory quantity on hand in Micro-Main
Restock parts in designated cabinets
Prepare outbound freight (RMA’s)
Provide alerts on abnormal use trends to Manager
Continuous Improvement
Monitor inbound product for visible issues, report as needed
Work with vendor to ship hazardous waste.
Participate in other special projects as assigned.
Participate in workshops aligned with facility Focus Five initiatives

EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:
Minimum of Two (2) recent years of related work experience
Must have strong communication (verbal & written) skills with the ability to speak at all levels
Must have solid working knowledge Micro-Soft Excel
Previous experience with Maintenance Software preferred
Must have good organization skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc..
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
General problem-solving abilities
