JOB DESCRIPTION

On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis for multiple shift rotations.

YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Diploma or degree in a related field and/ or equivalent experience
  • Possess 5-10 years of IT experience supporting end-user devices (PC, printers, scanners, mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Experience migrating win7 to win10, to win11 OS
  • Experience with basic network concepts
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts

  • Manufacturing hand-on experience
  • Operates under general guideline and direction to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair end-user equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets), computer peripherals, and network connectivity
  • Good Windows PC and peripheral support skills
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN concepts
  • Basic understanding of wireless communication
  • Experienced IT Security knowledge
  • Applies sound skill, experience, and judgment to troubleshoot reported issues
  • Possesses strong analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and business partners
  • Experience with VLANs, NAT/PAT, VPNs, IPSec, and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience with data, video, and voice services

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This role entails maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Additionally, you will document, maintain, upgrade and/or replace hardware and software systems. You will need to be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities pertaining to operations affecting information technology in GM’s business process areas.
You will be relied upon for your experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals. You may lead and direct the work of others. You are someone who is familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures; holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. You are to model GM behaviors and craft a winning culture.
