As our next Maintenance Systems Technician - Millwright, you’ll be at the forefront of programming, debugging, installation, and startup of new or modified production and test equipment. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensuring adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other industry standards in all activities.
- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working with the Operations, Quality, and Engineering Departments to maintain and repair facilities and production equipment.
- Repairing, refurbishing, and constructing state-of-the-art Robotic/CNC/PLC based manufacturing equipment including mechanical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Maintaining, refurbishing, and repairing all production equipment and facilities as per IATF16949/ISO9001 system procedures.
- Assembling, debugging, installing, and starting up new or modified production equipment from the perspective of mechanical assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls installation.
- Ensuring an organized and well-equipped maintenance department from the perspective of housekeeping and project organization.
- Playing an integral role in the completion of equipment and facilities projects as well as facilitating planned maintenance activities and emergency repairs in the production environment.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills as applied to CNC and/or PLC based equipment is required, Fanuc Robot experience would be an asset.
- Working continental shifts, rotating as necessary.
- Completing the implementation of new or modified production machines in conjunction with new manufacturing projects.
- Ensuring operational quality and efficiency targets are maintained.
- Working in compliance with EP Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Production Systems.
- Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performing other related duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Certificate of Qualification as a Millwright (443A) and relevant industrial experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on technical skills with respect to Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, PLC, Fanuc Robots, and CNC based control and logic systems, and basic welding, manual machining skills are a definite asset.
- Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on Quality Operating Systems.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
