JOB DESCRIPTION

• Primary role – Material management
• Perform raw material kitting for instrument assembly and NPIs.
• Raw material inventory management.
• Perform SAP systems & MES material movement transactions.
• Work closely with warehouse team to ensure on-time delivery of parts.
• Follow up with buyers on material shortage issues.
• Process the return of non-conforming materials to suppliers.
• Assist Production Supervisor in executing build plan.
• Assist engineers in reflowing of verified ncm parts.
• Secondary role – Assembly activities
• Soldering of support parts.
• Assemble and Test sub-modules.
• Troubleshooting of defective sub-modules rejected from Instrument Test.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Back-up for Support Part activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years working in instrument assembly environment
• Able to work without supervision
• Experience with SAP systems will be an added advantage
• Team player
• Lifting of materials will be required
