JOB SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Technician is a key player in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of heaters. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, they are responsible for the preparation, assembly, and quality testing of heaters, accessories, and prepped components. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

The Manufacturing Technician will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of physically lifting parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Technician brings value to the organization through a variety of roles and responsibilities, including:

  • Referencing work orders to understand customer requirements.
  • Preparing heater components for assembly.
  • Wiring electrical heater components.
  • Assembling heating panels.
  • Inspecting products for quality assurance and providing reports to the Production Supervisor.
  • Packaging the completed heater and accessories into boxes.
  • Completing timesheets for each station worked on and track units produced.
  • Operating small, light-duty power tools as required.
  • Assisting with various warehouse duties.
  • Cleaning stations, areas, and tools.
  • Following all established safe work procedures and health and safety regulations and ensuring safe use of all manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting problems that arise with machinery or assembly.
  • Participating in daily departmental meetings
  • Other duties as assigned.
