REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5 or More Years of Relevant Experience (Tool and Die)
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Advanced Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Understanding. Press/Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair, Leading PM and Repair Activity, Schedule Creation, Working with Outside Contractors, Overhead Crane Operation, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the repair of presses and equipment (electrical and mechanical)
- Leads and performs equipment inspections for proper maintenance and sustainability
- Leads and performs preventive maintenance on a variety of presses and equipment
- Leads contractors/ maintenance personnel to ensure proper repairs when necessary
- Leads in identifying faulty equipment and ordering parts/equipment to complete repairs
- Communicating equipment repair status with the team
- Tracking/ logging repair work and work order status
- Lead in completing monthly equipment maintenance checks
- Maintaining accurate budget planning, control, and reporting for maintenance activity
- Cross training with and supporting tool and die makers during build/ maturation of tooling
