What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of the operational team, Client Operations, you will be joining the Credit processing services and will be responsible for performing a range of medium to complex margin and covenants calculations and analysis using judgement and applying experience and knowledge of financial statements and lending margins to be able to interpret, identify errors and determine corrective action.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Credit knowledge & Analysis - Knowledge and experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Risk. Expertise of loan/security documentation, compliance, audit and control requirements. Familiarity of internal CIBC systems and applications (e.g. COINS/COLT, LAS, ECM, ICAP/Streamloan).
  • Collaboration - Maintain open lines of communication with assigned Relationship managers. Regular contact with internal CIBC employees, teams and departments (e.g. Risk Management, Commercial Banking) at peer and management level to provide and receive information and escalate issues as required. Regular contact with external Solicitors and Canadian Securities Registration System (CSRS) to obtain and clarify information related to loans.
  • Compliance - Compliance with all CIBC regulatory training and ensure these programs and policies are applied consistently across the business. The incumbent is personally responsible for compliance with all such regulatory and governance programs.
