Description:
Are you a seasoned marine engineering professional with a passion for leading innovative projects? RealNZ is looking for a Marine Development Manager to drive the evolution of our vessel fleet, ensuring both reliability and guest satisfaction as we continue to deliver world-class experiences.
As the Marine Development Manager, you will lead vessel improvement projects that optimize our fleet’s performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with the Marine, Maritime Operations, and Experience teams to ensure our vessels meet the ever-changing needs of the business and our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities for asset optimisation and working with senior leadership to incorporate these into work plans.
- Managing and delivering marine projects on time, within budget, and in line with best practices.
- Developing vessel improvement solutions and overseeing project implementation.
- Managing contractors and external consultants, ensuring all work meets RealNZ’s high standards.
- Collaborating with the Asset Manager (Marine) to prepare and manage project budgets.
- Driving risk management initiatives to safeguard critical marine assets.
