Electricians at Team Electric play a crucial role in the installation of marine cables and equipment, and the setup and connection of ship electrical systems. We are seeking candidates with robust technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications and local codes.
  • Connect wires to ship equipment such as lighting, PA systems, fire alarms, sensors, and sockets.
  • Test electrical systems and circuits for functionality using appropriate testing devices.
  • Inspect electrical components and systems to detect hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to shipboard equipment.

Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficient in time management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Education, Training & Experience:

  • Preferred experience in shipyard or industrial settings.
  • Flexible availability for overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the European Union is essential
