Description:

Electricians at Team Electric play a crucial role in the installation of marine cables and equipment, as well as the setup and connection of ship electrical systems. We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety.

SKILLS/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred experience in shipyard or industrial settings.
  • Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligibility to work in the European Union is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications and local codes.
  • Connect wires to ship equipment, including lighting, PA systems, fire alarms, sensors, and sockets.
  • Test electrical systems and circuits for functionality using appropriate testing devices.
  • Inspect electrical components and systems to detect hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to shipboard equipment.
