Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Seagoing experience as a Master (CoC class 1 or 2), or at least 2 years of shore experience in safety, health, and environmental management for product or chemical tankers.
- Familiarity with international and local maritime regulations.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and manage vessels’ health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ensure vessels are prepared for their voyages and operations.
- Arrange and manage required audits and inspections (ISM, ISPS, MLC).
- Manage vetting inspections and submit reports to the OCIMF SIRE platform.
- Oversee navigational matters, approve passage plans, and conduct navigation audits.
- Ensure compliance with terminal, operator, oil major, and charterer requirements.
- Liaise with Flag State and Port State authorities.
- Keep Q88 and HVPQ updated at all times.
- Advise on changes to regulations, requirements, and industry best practices.
- Monitor, review, and update the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
- Provide guidance and information to vessels regarding safety and compliance.
- Support and train crew members to maintain competency and discipline.
- Address queries related to vessel capabilities and performance.
- Serve as a member of the company’s emergency response team.
- Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned.
