Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Maritime Technician Intern.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a young and innovative environment, combining technical expertise with hands-on experience onboard vessels calling Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation, crew training, and testing of Captain’s Eye systems onboard vessels calling Singapore.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure optimal functionality of the Captain’s Eye systems.
  • Handle inventory and HW orders
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously improve the performance and reliability of the systems.
  • Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities.
  • Think outside the box to address challenges and adapt to changing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vessel crews and engineering teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with AWS and Linux operating systems is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel and work onboard vessels as needed.
