Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Market Analyst with a specialization in FX and CFD trading to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our research and analysis department, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting market trends to provide actionable insights for our clients and internal stakeholders. Market insights will cover FX, commodities and indices in particular as well as coverage in adjacent but popular markets such as individual equities and crypto assets. Further themes of macroeconomic headlines, earnings reports, general education and trading strategies are important. Our channels will include posts on social platforms such as Twitter, videos on Youtube and streams on TradingView among other strategic outlets.
Reporting into the Global Head of Research and Global Head of Content, this role will aim to build our team’s – as well as their own – profile on the myriad of social platforms that can draw traffic onto our domains. This person will look to combine their own market insights with the ideas and tools of their colleagues along with utilizing tools such as SEO to reach ever larger segments of the investment community.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive research and analysis of the Forex market, including currency pairs, economic indicators, geopolitical events, and central bank policies.
• Monitor and interpret market trends, developments, and news related to Forex, and assess their potential impact on currency prices.
• Utilize technical analysis tools, charts, and indicators to identify patterns, trends, and trading opportunities in the Forex market.
• Generate detailed reports, forecasts, and recommendations based on your analysis to guide trading strategies and investment decisions.
• Contribute to and create (with support) market commentary content in the form of video or written articles for client communications, social media or other marketing activities
• Collaborate with other team members, including traders, portfolio managers, and risk management professionals, to provide timely and accurate market insights and support decision-making processes.
• Stay updated with industry news, regulatory changes, and market innovations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Forex market landscape.
• Continuously evaluate and refine trading models, strategies, and risk management frameworks based on market analysis and performance metrics.
• Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to share your analysis, insights, and recommendations with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Contribute to the development of research methodologies, tools, and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of market analysis processes.
• Maintain a strong awareness of market competitors, their strategies, and their impact on the Forex market, and use this knowledge to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Market Analyst, specifically in the Forex market, with a deep understanding of currency trading and market dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis techniques, indicators, and tools relevant to Forex market analysis.
• Proficiency in using financial analysis software, data platforms, and charting tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify trends, and make sound judgments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate analysis, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Fluency in Germany and English, comfortable in written and verbal communication in both languages.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for financial markets and a drive to stay updated with industry trends.
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are highly desirable.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
